‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 5 sneak peeks: Deeks, Sam, and varying chats

Sunday night’s new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” is just about upon us, and what we’ve got for you below are a pair of very different sneak peeks that could not be any more different from each other if they tried.

The first one that we have is rather silly, mostly in that we’re seeing Deeks have a personal conversation with her mother that includes her doing such things as confusing Kensi for a secret agent, forgetting that Marty is technically a cop, and asking a bunch of other questions that don’t seem altogether necessary. She plays the role of worried mother very well, and we do actually think that this sneak peek is a lot of fun. It doesn’t help to offest Kensi being in a coma at present, but we are glad that we’re continuing to see Deeks’ family continue to play a role in the show.

As for the second sneak peek below, think of this as a personal heart-to-heart between Sam and Carl, one in which the former tries to get some sort of information on him about the mole, the motives, and if there is anything more that this guy is hiding. What Sam does figure out in here that Carl seemed to be acting out of feelings that he had for a woman, which is certainly a compelling reason to do something. Was it worth it? Given that he is behind bars, we’re guessing not so much.

All in all, though, we’d say that these sneak peeks are rather fun, and they have us rather excited and then some to see where the story of this episode goes from here. We know that in particular Bar Paly will be reprising her role as Anna.
