‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 6 preview: Kono and Adam’s Halloween kidnapping

Tonight, “Hawaii Five-0” brought some great news in the direction of the Kono / Adam relationship: After all, the two parties are now together again! He’s out of prison, and the two have a chance to live out what is a little more of a normal life — or as least as normal as it can be given the sort of crazy job Grace Park’s character has.

Unfortunately, this seems to be where the good news ends, given that next week’s new episode is going to put these characters in a scary situation — which probably is appropriate, given that this entire episode is going to be set up around Halloween … or at least it seems that way given that we have poltergeists involved in the story somehow. The title for this hour is “Ka hale ho’okauweli” or “House of Horrors,” another sign that we’re getting a particularly scary hour of TV.

Synopsis – “On Halloween, Five-0 investigates the murder of a medium with a checkered past who was apparently scared to death by a poltergeist. Also, Kono and Adam are kidnapped by what appears to be a death cult.”

This doesn’t quite give a whole lot away, but the one thing we really do hope is that the show doesn’t kill off Adam so soon after bringing him and Kono back together. That would officially be (at least in our mind) one of the cruelest twists in the history of the entire show.

As for the murder of a medium, this just feels all sorts of crazy and perfectly in line for what we know about what shows tend to do at this time of year. We just hope it’s exciting.
