‘Bull’ episode 5 preview: Why is Bull turning away cash?
This past episode of “Bull” brought out a wide array of entertainment: We had an intriguing / complicated case, a chance to see some interesting twists and turns, and also see Michael Weatherly have some quality time with a cow. From the standpoint of fun, this was probably the strongest episode yet.
In moving forward now to Tuesday’s episode, we’re going to see a very different sort of case play out, one that pits a wealthy and middle-class family against each other. Bull’s actions in here should prove further that he’s not always a guy about the money, especially when there is someone he can champion.
Synopsis – “When the parents of a murdered socialite attempt to hire Bull to help prosecute their daughter’s working-class fiancé for the crime, Bull turns down a major payday when he chooses to help defend the fiancé instead. Also, Marissa, Cable and Danny try to convince Chunk to let them investigate the new guy he wants to date.”
The Chunk side-story should be fun mostly in that it will further cement the presence of the supporting cast on the show. When the very title of your show is about the lead, we do think sometimes it can be easy for everyone else to become somewhat lost in the shuffle.
Promo – CBS really needs to start showing a little bit more ambition with these! We understand that you want to court new viewers, but this basically just repeats the original premise back at you, at least other than the part where Bull is punched in the face. Just think of that, if all is as it seems, as further evidence that this is a guy with a tendency to make some enemies.
