‘Blue Bloods’ season 7 spoilers: Michael Imperioli returns; Frank’s new dilemma
Michael Imperioli’s certainly been a rather busy guy as of late. The “Sopranos” alum has made some appearances on “Hawaii Five-0” and “Lucifer,” and on the upcoming November 4 episode of “Blue Bloods” entitled “Guilt By Association,” we’re going to see him make an appearance once again as Robert Lewis.
So what role will the character have in the story this time? Basically, he’s going to do what he can to convince Frank to support publicly an investigation by the Attorney General into charges of excessive force by police. Yet again, this is one of those classic Frank Reagan dilemmas that we’ve seen many times over on the show. He doesn’t want to run the risk of not standing up for his boys in blue, especially since there are some who are falsely accused, in particular in an era with strong anti-police sentiments. Yet, at the same time there are cops guilty of this sort of thing and he knows it. He also needs to remain on the side of the public to a certain extent.
As for what else is going to be coming during this episode, here are a couple of quick teases for it:
1. A key witness in a case of Danny’s is going to turn up dead just before they were going to testify, and this causes a problem that Erin will try to solve by getting Anthony to work with him in order to find the person responsible. Danny, as a result of this action, isn’t going to be too pleased.
2. Jamie and Eddie are going to be responsible for taking on an attempted-suicide case.
