‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7 spoilers: What trouble lies ahead for Kono, Adam?

If there’s one thing we’re starting to learn about Kono and Adam on “Hawaii Five-0” at the moment, it’s this: They just cannot seem to catch a break. This Friday, we know that the Adam character is going to have a chance to finally be released from prison, and maybe for a little while he’ll be able to settle in a breathe a little easier.

Unfortunately, that joy and relaxation could be rather short-lived. Based on some new information released by CBS for the upcoming October 28 episode “Ka hale ho’okauweli” (“House of Horrors”), we will see these two characters find themselves in a different sort of trouble than they’ve experienced as of late. Specifically, they’re kidnapped by what appears to be a death cult! Given that this episode is Halloween-themed, it really shouldn’t be too big of a surprise that this is the sort of stuff that we’re going to get a chance to see here. Let’s hope that this is all some sort of cruel prank.

Just in case this wasn’t odd enough, the other main component of this story is going to be the investigation into the death of a medium, who may have died after being “scared to death” by a poltergeist. Yes, this is completely absurd, but that may be part of the fun here … with “fun” being the operating word. We’re glad that this is the direction the show is going in here, given that there are so many other shows who tend to go scary come Halloween time. It’s nice to see someone else shake things up a bit.

New episodes of “Hawaii Five-0” will continue to air in the interim on Friday nights. Let’s hope for some great stuff before Halloween rolls around!
