‘Arrow’ season 5 spoilers: Damian Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn will appear in 100th episode
With the 100th episode of “Arrow” coming right around the corner, it’s inevitable that there’d be a thirst for further details. We can at least offer you a small handful today.
For one, we’ve got further confirmation that a good half of the Legion of Doom will be a part of the installment. Neal McDonough and John Barrowman will each appear as Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn; given that the former is dead in the present, the circumstances surrounding his said appearance is still unclear. We already knew that many other notable characters, whether it be Moira Queen or even Deathstroke, will turn up in one way or another. (There’s no word on if Manu Bennett is coming back as the Slade Wilson character.)
What we can give you to set up this big episode further is the following quote from executive producer Marc Guggenheim, courtesy of TVLine:
“Everyone who we could have in the episode from a scheduling point of view is in the episode … Even the people that we couldn’t have, because of conflicting schedules, are represented.”
The site also reports that Wentworth Miller, who is a regular across the entire CW superhero universe this year, will make his first appearance on “Legends of Tomorrow” this season in the midseason finale. Given that Captain Cold is a part of said Legion of Doom, it’s fair to say that we’re not seeing the same exact version of Leonard Snart on this show that we saw previously on “Legends” during its first season. Given the time-travel component of this show, things are rather complicated and just about anything can happen in terms of past incarnations.
