‘Secrets and Lies’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Who’s set to betray Eric?

The more that you learn about the murder at the center of “Secrets and Lies” season 2, and the more you would think that we would be closer to answers. However, that is not exactly the case. We’re starting to see some more twists and turns as new relationships form, partnerships dissolve, and then betrayals happen in some rather interesting ways and from rather interesting places.

The next all-new episode of the show is airing in one week’s time, and the title of it is “The Detective.” Is that a reference to Cornell, or someone else entirely? We figure that all will be revealed there in relative due time.

Synopsis – “Eric discovers that he and Danny have more in common than he first believed. The two get closer to finding Liam, but they aren’t the only ones who have been hot on his trail. At work, things begin to unravel when Patrick fails to cover for Eric at a big meeting and then gets swept up in Detective Cornell’s web of interrogation. And just when Eric begins to get some answers, he is confronted by a huge betrayal, leaving him speechless.”

The way this show goes, you’ll probably be able to write off a few suspects in the coming weeks. We’re not at the halfway point of the season just yet, but even still these seasons are relatively short in comparison to other series. They have to move quickly.

Promo – THIS is certainly dramatic, mostly because Eric is going to be so desperate to prove his innocence that, in the process, he may cause some other trouble for himself. The promo ends with a heated confrontation, and that could just be the beginning for him if he keeps this pattern up.
