Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” carries with it the title of “Philly,” which on its own doesn’t necessarily reveal much. Yet, this is the apparent setting for more of the story in this episode, and it could be a further exploration both into the past and present of Jennifer Esposito’s newcomer Alex Quinn.
While she may be new to the show, the important thing to remember is that Quinn is not exactly new to the NCIS world. She worked as an agent before becoming a teacher, and in this episode we’re going to have a chance to explore further what happened to her. Whatever it was, there may be something that happens in this episode to trigger some of those memories. This is why we see Quinn challenging Gibbs about “walking a mile in her shoes” in the promo below.
This preview also gives you a little bit of action as McGee and Nick Torres seem to be involved in some sort of high-stakes case. We imagine that these high-octane sequences are one of the reasons why we have Wilmer Valderrama on this show now. Through what we’ve seen so far, he really seems to excel in them.
Oh, and we’re also going to have the return of Duane Henry in here, as well! Maybe you’ve seen that in some of the promotional material that is already out there (or our prior preview), but he will be turning up once more as MI6 works alongside the NCIS team on the latest case. Given what we saw from Henry during his appearances on the show last season, we are very much excited to see what he brings to the table this time.
