‘The Walking Dead’ season 7 video: Norman Reedus talks filming with zombies, more on ‘The Tonight Show’
With the premiere of “The Walking Dead” just over seven days from premiering on AMC, we’re finally getting close to the point where there are going to be some answers in terms of precisely who Negan killed off with Lucille — and we have to assume at this point that no one is happier to have this secret out there than the cast. After all, it won’t be long before these people don’t have to deal with having to answer the question anymore.
Speaking in a new interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this week setting up the new season, Norman Reedus made it clear precisely how often people do ask him about what happened, and how they are going to feel once they finally learn the truth about what happened:
“All day long — cops, fireman, TSA agents, people who could throw me in jail if I don’t tell them … [they all ask] who died. I imagine a lot of people will be kicking their television sets. It’s heavy, it’s really heavy.”
Fallon tried to make it out to look like Reedus had just dropped some huge spoiler revelation on his with this statement, but let’s be clear: Nobody for sure outside of the folks who work on the show (and maybe a few others here or there) know exactly what happened with Negan. That’s the way it really should be. While learning who is gone does matter since odds are we are losing a huge character and an important part of the show, at the same time we’re more excited at this point to learn what happens after the death. This scene is only going to last a few minutes, and following that we’ll get into the rest of the meat of the show.
