‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2: Could someone be crushing on Supergirl?
We know that there is a four-part crossover spanning all of the CW superhero shows coming a little bit later this fall, and we’ve got another interesting tease on it now, as well: We’re going to have a chance to see worlds collide in a slightly different way than we expected.
Speaking (per TVLine), “Supergirl” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg made it clear that Sara Lance from “Legends of Tomorrow” could in particular have a surprising sentiment towards Kara upon meeting her; specifically, “I think Sara’s got a little crush on her.” What do we call this ‘shipper name: SuperLance? Given what their chemistry is like we wouldn’t be opposed to it, though we don’t exactly think that the producers would have the time to do some sort of romance that crosses over several different shows all of the time.
Kreisberg also notes that John Diggle’s reaction to meeting Supergirl will prove to be much of fans have wanted ever since the idea was first floated around:
“There’s a moment where somebody says, ‘This is Supergirl,’ and they say, ‘What’s so super about her?’ and she just lifts off the ground. Dig’s like, ‘I’m convinced.’”
For the most part we know that the “Arrow” universe is trying to remain a little more grounded this year, but the threat of the alien race known as the Dominators coming up this season is going to bring all of these groups together in an effort to further fend them off. It’s still to be seen precisely how this will work structurally and how we will jump from one show to the next, but for the most part, we’re excited to see it just from the perspective of fun.
