‘The X Factor’ UK: Little Mix member accuses Honey G of ‘acting’
We know that Honey G is set to deliver a performance on this weekend’s new episode of “The X Factor” that will probably generate plenty of attention, but the latest question that is being asked is rather simple: Is all of this attention generated as a result of an act? Are we being punked? It’s something that has been a question from the very beginning with her, and now comments from someone very much familiar with the show bring that to light once more.
Speaking per The Sun, Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix (the only group to ever win this show) made her own personal thoughts clear on the subject — and let’s just say that she had “sources” of her own make it clear that this is all an act:
“I think it’s a joke. I don’t believe she’s real. She’s blatantly an actress. Let’s just say, I’ve heard she’s an actress.”
Is she pretending? We don’t have any clue, but at the same time, we also don’t think that it really matters all that much if she is. This is, first and foremost, a show that is relying on entertainment. You want to see a good singer win, and with that in mind the thing to remember here one way or another is that she’s not the most talented person there. She’ll be gone in most likely a few weeks at most, so you might as well enjoy the novelty while you can. Her best upside is probably someone like a Stevi Ritchie.
