‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 16 preview: When will ‘Girl Meets Her Monster’ air?

After a couple of weeks off of the air, “Girl Meets World” is coming aboard the Disney Channel tonight with a new episode. Not only that, but this is the latest installment of their Halloween “Girl Meets World of Terror” specials. We hope that this one satisfies, since it looks like it is the only installment of the series starring Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter for the remainder of the month.

So when is the series returning? At the moment, that is not 100% confirmed by the network, but the Disney Channel. With that being said, Zap2It reports through their listings that the next new episode is entitled “Girl Meets Her Monster,” and it will air on Friday, November 4. That title is a little ironic given that it could easily function as a Halloween episode in its own way with a name like this.

There are only 21 episodes in season 3, so we’re officially now entering the homestretch for the show — and that may be even more dramatic when you consider the future surrounding the show’s future. We know there are a lot of stories out there using clever buzzwords like “canceled” or “renewed” right now for the sake of generating traffic, but the reality here is that the network has not made a decision yet on the show’s future and there is no real hurry for them to, given that there are enough new episodes, with hiatuses in mind, to take the season into the new year. We do hope that in one way or another, the show gets a fourth season, even if it is on a network like Freeform who caters to a slightly older audience.
