‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: Eion Bailey set for return as August

Eion Bailey

For those of you who appreciate seeing a certain August W. Booth on “Once Upon a Time,” we come bearing what is in our mind rather-tremendous news: There is a chance to see him coming back and lending a helping hand.

According to ET Online, Eion Bailey will be returning for at least one episode in the first half of this season as Emma Swan’s longtime friend since the first season, and someone who also has the alter ego of Pinocchio. It is not entirely clear what the specifics behind said return are at present, though we imagine that a big part of his role could be helping Emma deal with her current crisis. She had a vision recently of a very bleak future, and that is something that she will be forced to play out further as she gets closer and closer to the time of it happening.

Bailey’s return marks one of many reprisals for this sixth season. We already have seen multiple appearances from Raphael Sbarge in the role of Archie, David Anders returned recently as Dr. Whale, and we even has Jessy Schram back on this past episode as Cinderella, who had an untold story regarding one of her stepsisters. There are some other familiar faces that we would love to see on the show moving forward this season, including the likes of Aurora, Ariel, and Maleficent. Much of that may just come down to finding the right time to get them back immersed in this world. (We’d throw Anna or Elsa on this list, but the show has almost pretended as though the “Frozen” arc never happened from the moment in which it concluded.)

Who knows? Maybe some more mysteries will be in store for us as we inch closer to the second half of this season.
