‘Bones’ season 12 spoilers: ‘Dolphin Tale’ actor signs up for role
While you continue to endure the rather-long wait between now and the premiere of “Bones” season 12 coming up in the new year, how about a little more casting news to make that easier?
According to a report from Variety, Nathan Gamble (known for the “Dolphin Tale” movies plus a guest run on “The Goldbergs” will be playing a part in at least one upcoming episode. While details are relatively scarce, we know that he will be taking on the role of a teenager who flees the scene of a crime, thinking that he is about to be busted for some sort of underage drinking. As for whether or not he has some further information that could be useful for solving a crime, that remains to be seen.
With it being a shorter final season that is on the way, our feeling is that Fox is going to be really going into overdrive in an effort to give you a final batch of episodes that is nostalgic, fun, and a celebration of the entire show’s run — while giving you a few things that are new, as well. The best thing is that this order was given with a presumption from the get-go that this would mark the end of the road for the show, that way there is no conclusion or feeling as though someone really has to rush things along as we start to inch ever closer to the end of the road.
We imagine that there are still some more surprises coming in the casting department, especially as we get closer and closer to the series finale filming. Stay tuned…
