‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 4 spoilers: Snow returns to work; Dr. Jekyll’s history
As we reported on Sunday, “Strange Case” is the title for the next new episode of “Once Upon a Time,” and we have a feeling that this is going to be the episode that gives you a better sense as to who Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde truly are. It also should provide some additional information regarding how in the world we got to the point where people can separate different parts of their personality. We’ve seen that with these characters, and we also now have that with Regina and the Evil Queen.
On Monday, ABC released the official synopsis for this episode, which offers up some further insight regarding Dr. Jekyll’s history and precisely how much of a role a certain Rumple had in it:
“The Evil Queen and Hyde continue on their quest to steal Dr. Jekyll’s serum even as Snow looks forward to her first day back in the classroom. Emma looks forward to Hook moving in with her, and Hook finds himself trying to protect Belle from Mr. Gold, who has made sure she can’t leave the confines of the Jolly Roger. Meanwhile, in flashback, Rumplestiltskin helps Dr. Jekyll complete his serum to separate a man’s personality into two—good and evil—and, as always, his help comes with a hefty price.”
It may come across like a small detail in here, but we’re personally happy to see that Snow is getting back to work — mostly because someone in this town needs to. We have no clue at this point how these people live, work, and function on a regular basis because they spend so much time fighting bad guys and trying to preserve happy endings. Hopefully, this means a little more normalcy is on the way for Emma, David, and others.
