Is ‘Secrets and Lies’ season 2, episode 4 new tonight? More news on ‘The Detective’
If you consider yourself a fan of “Secrets and Lies” on ABC, you may believe at present that this is a rather-hard show to keep up with just in terms of all the breaks. There was a good year and three or four months between the end of season 1 and the start of season 2, and when you consider the cast turnaround, it’s almost a completely different show to boot. Trying to convince all of those viewers to come back is no easy task, and it’s hardly a surprise that the live ratings are, at least to date, down.
Unfortunately, there is also no new episode airing on the network tonight, and while the reasoning for it may make some sense, that does not make it any less of a bummer. The show is off of the air due entirely to the Presidential Debate airing across all broadcast networks, and when it returns, it will do so with a story entitled “The Liar” that will put even more heat on the Eric character. For a little more insight on that, head over here to take a look at the promo for it.
What we’ve got for you below to help tide you over now is some further information regarding “The Detective,” the episode airing following next week’s on October 23:
“Eric discovers that he and Danny have more in common than he first believed. The two get closer to finding Liam, but they aren’t the only ones who have been hot on his trail. At work, things begin to unravel when Patrick fails to cover for Eric at a big meeting and then gets swept up in Detective Cornell’s web of interrogation. And just when Eric begins to get some answers, he is confronted by a huge betrayal, leaving him speechless.”
Without knowing what happens next week, the best way to look at this in context is to remember this: Something is going to happen in the coming episodes to lead to this big betrayal, and with that, maybe you can use that knowledge to look for further clues. We certainly imagine that it is going to be intense. (Photo: ABC.)
