‘Homeland’ season 6 spoilers: A slice of good news for Carrie, Quinn
There may not be too much known as of yet about the upcoming sixth season of “Homeland,” but we do at least know something that will bring smiles to the faces of many: The future is looking particularly bright for Carrie and Quinn.
First things first, here’s a reminder that Rupert Friend’s character is going to survive the events of last season. Given everything he went through it would have been understandable to doubt this being the case, but luckily the show is not removing him from the equation. Now, let’s go ahead and add this litter teaser regarding why Carrie is in New York from Claire Danes, who commented while at PaleyFest in new York that her character is “in New York [mostly] because Quinn is receiving therapy here.”
Is this a guarantee of a full-fledged relationship? Absolutely not, and we do like to believe that the Showtime series is smart enough to not delve too far down the rabbit hole of melodrama. It’s as a result of this that we are interested to see how the show navigates some of its present dynamics between these two. What would it mean for them to be in a relationship; would it complicate things professionally, or make it easier because of some stability?
We’d love to have some further answers on this, but unfortunately we do not even have a full trailer just yet. Hopefully, this is something that Showtime will unleash later this fall, given that for the first time, they are choosing to wait until after the new year in order to launch the season. That gives them more time to perfect this, and it also makes sense given that they started up production later than usual.
For now, our recommendation if you’re hungry for more news is to simply head over here, and see what else we’re dishing out when it comes to the series.
