‘Better Call Saul’ season 3 is officially underway — rejoice!
It may have been a long wait to the start of “Better Call Saul” season 3, but herein lies the good news: The waiting is coming to a close!
As the photo (via Patrick Fabrian, posted on AMC’s official Twitter page), you can see photographic proof of what we consider now to be glorious news and then some regarding the start of season 3. Filming is picking up once more in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and you can see that the gang is getting back together in order to make new episodes. Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seahorn, Jonathan Banks, and many other cast members are featured here.
The third season will probably pick up in the aftermath of the shocking finale, one that made it clear that Chuck’s anger / jealousy / whatever-his-feeling-is-towards-his-brother is starting to bring him down a path where he wants to destroy him. Jimmy McGill may be smart, but at the same time, he may not quite know precisely what is about to hit him. Elsewhere, hopefully we will learn the identity of the mysterious “don’t note” that was attached to the Mike storyline. Every bit of evidence out there suggests that this could mark the beginning of Gus Fring on the show (he has to turn up sometime, right?), but if that is the case it’s pretty darn difficult to think that the producers are going to be giving us any insight on it in advance.
As for the premiere date, odds are you’ll be waiting for a while. For the time being, our hope is that the show will be returning in February or March.
