‘Supergirl’ season 2 video: Jeremy Jordan on playing Winn

Supergirl -

The second season of “Supergirl” is going to be premiering on The CW on Monday, so we really think there is no better time to get some more information in terms of what to expect.

With that in mind, we bring to you a new video interview featuring Jeremy Jordan! In the clip below, you can see the actor go through for a minute or two what makes the upcoming season so interesting for him, and also why he likes playing this character so much. For him, he views this as an opportunity to reach out to many of the other ordinary people out there who have these aspirations of being a part of a world like this. He’s probably the most relatable person in the cast in that it is fairly easy to see things from his perspective.

There are also a few plot details in this video, as well; specifically, Jordan and his co-star David Harewood (Hank Henshaw) go through Winn’s transition over to the DEO, his new place of business after being dismissed from CatCo. While here, he is going to have an opportunity to further hone some of his skills, and at the same time be more able to help Supergirl take on whatever threats are coming in her direction.

Suffice it to say, we’re excited to see where this story goes — for now, there’s really not too much information out there for Winn beyond just the first episode or two, so there is excitement in the great unknown.
