‘The Blacklist’ season 4, episode 4 preview: What’s ahead for Megan Boone, James Spader in ‘Gaia’

We certainly hope that there are many people out there tonight enjoying “The Blacklist,” but at the same time we concede that tonight’s probably challenging for some. If you’re on the East Coast, stay safe! For everyone else, hopefully you can just look at the show as a little bit of escapism … and we hope that everyone will be around next week in order to check out the next episode live.

As per usual, we’re here with a few more details about it. The title for this episode is “Gaia,” and Alexander Kirk is still going to be out there. We’re starting to get the sense that Kirk = Berlin, at least in terms of the length of time in which he could be around for the show. Given the perceived connections between him and Liz Keen, is anyone really going to mind?

Synopsis – “As Red (James Spader) sets Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force on the trail of an eco-terrorist with a mysterious connection to Alexander Kirk, Tom (Ryan Eggold) takes matters into his own hands.”

Promo – We do think that this is much more informative as to what is really coming up, especially through the lens of what we saw tonight. Through the events of “Miles McGrath,” it was determined that Alexander Kirk’s interest in his supposed daughter stems mostly from his desire to add more years to his life, as he is suffering from a disease that appears impossible-to-cure. Since he does not have Liz, the next best thing seems to be her daughter Agnes. Let’s just say that this knowledge gives her a far greater sense of urgency.
