‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 3 sneak peeks: A hostage situation; Frank’s PR disaster
Friday night’s “Blue Bloods” is entitled “The Price of Justice,” and both sneak peeks for it seem to echo one question in one way or another: How far are you willing to go in order to ensure that you get justice for a particular crime?
For the first sneak peek, we have further evidence of one of the most-difficult cases we’ve seen Danny run into to date with Baez, as the two need to work together in order to properly figure out how to incriminate a man for holding a young woman hostage and sexually assaulting her when she is refusing to come forward to assist in the investigation. Evidence-based cases are so much more difficult, but luckily for the two of them they do have Erin on their side and willing to help out in any way that she can.
Unfortunately, there’s no guarantee that they will get this man on the charges that they want. We’ve certainly learned over the years with this show that sometimes, the victories are more moral than they are actual.
The second sneak peek, meanwhile, is all about abuse of power. A prominent NYPD fundraiser was pulled over while operating a siren and concealing a weapon, but the problem here is that he’s not actually an officer. To make matters worse, the Post already caught a photo of him getting pulled over, meaning that there is no easy way for Frank and company to “look the other way” on this one. They’ll have to figure out a solution that is a little trickier to navigate.
