‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 18, episode 4 preview: Lindsay Pulsipher returns as Rollins’ sister
Tonight, “Law & Order: SVU” dived into the world of rape-by-fraud, and whether or not Barba would be able to find a way to prosecute a man who was guilty of taken advantage of Hudson University mothers desperate to try and get their children the best education possible. It was a horrific act, but unfortunately it is par for the course for many criminals on this show.
When it comes to story content, “SVU” is a series that rarely tends to repeat itself, in particular when it goes from one episode to the next. With that in mind, don’t be surprised to find something very different in next week’s “Heightened Emotions,” a story that will take a different look at the athletic world (and beyond) than what we typically tend to see with the program. Not only that, but this marks the first appearance in some time for Lindsay Pulsipher as Amanda Rollins’ sister Kim, which will inevitably have an indelible impact upon her.
Synopsis – “An athlete is the victim of sexual assault, but her secret double life could ruin both the case against her attacker and her Olympic future. Meanwhile, Rollins (Kelli Giddish) reconnects with her sister Kim (guest star Lindsay Pulsipher) after she’s released from prison on parole.”
Promo – This preview does not feature Kim Rollins, but it does give you a further sense of the victim’s secret: She may have been working as a prostitute while also pursuing her dream. The ramifications of this reveal will reverberate through the episode.
