Tonight, “Once Upon a Time” gave us an episode that brought us a brief appearance from the Count of Monte Cristo, and with that reminders that the Evil Queen means business and is out to drive wedges between all of the characters. While we suppose that she could inflict a great deal of damage on these characters, we get the feeling now that she is allowing everyone else to make these moves so she doesn’t have to.
In the promo below, what you really have is a video all about some of the Untold Stories that are coming to the show — including one of Cinderella. This is not the first time that we’ve seen this character; as a matter of fact, she made an appearance in the early days of the series. This is a character who has been through a lot both in the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke, and with that we certainly want to see her happy.
What we wonder now is why in the world we never heard of her Untold Story of her stepmother and her stepsisters until now. After all, wasn’t this always a big part of the character’s mythology? We suppose we should complain, mostly because of the sole fact that we’re always going to be happy to get more Cinderella on this show.
The preview below also gives you another reminder that Aladdin is coming at some point soon, as well. It is interesting that the show first introduced him during the opening minutes of the premiere, but they are waiting for a while still to deliver most of the meat.
