‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: How Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice move forward after Vermont
Originally, Teresa Giudice was looking towards a trip to Vermont on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” as a way to try and recover and heal as she prepared for what the future would hold with her husband Joe in prison. Unfortunately, it’s fair to say that this did not work out as planned. What we ended up seeing her instead was utter chaos, something that was amplified all the more by some chaos we ended up seeing with Jacqueline Laurita. She referred to Teresa at one point as “criminal,” and we have a hard time thinking that she is going to be able to come back from that easily … especially when it comes to their history.
Next wee, we’re going to see Teresa return home to deal with some other issues, and given everything that her and Melissa Gorga have going on, they may not have a lot of time to necessarily spend on a conflict with Jacqueline. The synopsis below (via TV Guide) gives you a good sense:
“The wives try to regroup following a turbulent Vermont trip. Also: Melissa receives bad news about her boutique; Jacqueline’s husband reveals shocking family news; Siggy has an important conversation; and Teresa prepares for her husband’s stay in prison.”
Joe Giudice’s stay in prison is set to be a long one, so this is something that Teresa is especially going to have to get used to. It’s also something that is probably not going to be resolved in a single episode. We imagine that this will be addressed in many episodes coming up, and then also the big reunion.

Jacquline had every right to be upset…obviously, Teresa still has no ability to apologize or take responsibility for the things she does wrong. As for Melissa, she is the most unauthentic, fake person. It’s like she constantly has to try to be “cute” or “funny” and she’s neither of those things. Her and Joe are shoved up Teresa’s butt and will say or do anything to stay in her good graces. It seems as though in order to be friends with Teresa, you have to agree with everything she says, does, or believes. She can’t own her own s**t. Prison did her a lot of good (eye roll). Although I don’t agree with Jacqueline yelling and calling names, I can understand why she was so frustrated.
