Is ‘Power’ season 3 new tonight? A season 4 filming update

Haven’t the past two and a half months been fantastic to “Power“? We certainly think so. This isn’t a show that is struggling to come up with ideas as it’s going on; we’d argue that it is only getting better and better, creating characters who are increasingly complex while giving us situations that are created organically. Nothing feels forced, but we ended season 3 in a position where we don’t quite know how anyone moves forward. That’s exciting!

What is rather unfortunate right now is that, at present, we’re stuck waiting for almost a good year to see more of the series. As we mentioned, last week was the finale, and while season 4 was renewed some time ago (in addition to season 5), you’ll be waiting for a while in order to see the story pick up.

Here’s the good news: We can tell you that filming is underway now on the fourth season! Starz confirmed this news in the tweet below, showing many of the actors in a much happier position than their characters probably are going to be for some time. Remember here that Ghost could be starting things out in prison, and we could be seeing Tommy trying to run things in the drug business now. He didn’t kill Ghost, but he’s still found a way to use him as well as he can.
