‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: The first Safety Ceremony results

Monte -Since the powers-that-be over at “Big Brother: Over the Top” want to give all of us something to discuss this weekend, they’ve therefore decided to stretch out the Nomination Ceremony over the course of two days. The Saturday event is called the Safety Ceremony, and we saw today what that would entail: Houseguests received what was a green-light necklace, which was validation that they would not be going anywhere — at least for now. Remember that America still could nominate them later, so this is only a temporary reprieve.

So who was handed safety during this particular ceremony? Think along the lines of Shane, Cornbread, Whitney, Morgan, and Neeley. These five are going to at least breathe easier for the tonight, though that doesn’t mean much. Shane and Cornbread in particular could find themselves in some serious danger soon.

Elsewhere tonight, we saw some conversations that were for the most part inconsequential. Scott and Cornbread had a lengthy conversation where they further cemented their odd alliance, and also shared some suspicion about Shane getting so close to Danielle at this point in the game. Think of this as a further bit of evidence that eventually, we are going to see this alliance start to crumble among the guys.

Also, Justin went on some sort of odd tirade proclaiming to Scott and Cornbread that if Monte was going to come after him, he would come after him. Basically, he was giving Monte all sorts of fuel for something that he didn’t need to. We’re going to miss this guy if he goes, though, mostly because he’s fantastic.
