‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2 finale video: Ofelia’s car trouble

Yes, the finale of “Fear the Walking Dead” is airing on AMC Sunday night, and we are here to write about a sneak peek featuring … Ofelia having car trouble. Yep, that’s what is going on here.

The sneak peek below begins with her presumably on her drive back to the States to regain a part of the life she once had, and in the process sputtering out and encountering some zombies. She certainly does show in here all of the tools of the trade she’s picked up since the pilot, but at the same time, she’s no Rick Grimes. Therefore, there is a serious sense of danger about her being out there on her own.

While it’s feasible that we could see characters like Nick and Madison reuniting during the two-hour finale, it’s a little more unlikely in our mind that Ofelia is on a defined collision course with them. She doesn’t have that same blood tie, so the incentive to reclaim something with them is not quite there. The only way we could see her go back is if either the likes of Travis or Chris finds her, or she simply realizes that there is strength in numbers and this is all not worth the risk.

Of course, we do also secretly wish that Daniel Salazar would emerge from the rubble somewhere, but that doesn’t appear to be in the immediate plans of anyone. Maybe that is something better suited for season 3.
