‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10 spoilers: Is a major move coming for Sheldon, Amy?

At this point on “The Big Bang Theory,” Leonard and Penny have been married for over a year. They’ve been living together for quite some time, and are starting to plan for some sort of plan for the future. Of course, there is one problem that continues to plague them: Sheldon. he’s still around, and while they may love him, that doesn’t quite mean that they want to continue this arrangement the rest of their lives.

Therefore, it does make some sense that Amy would start to consider looking towards living with Sheldon — even if he’s not leaving his nest just yet, coming up with a situation where he and Amy stay together could be a stepping stone to having that happen down the road. The October 10 episode is entitled “The Cohabitation Experimentation,” and the synopsis below offers up a few more details regarding what to expect:

“When Amy’s apartment floods, she proposes a ‘cohabitation experiment’ with Sheldon. Also, Howard and Bernadette are upset when Koothrappali learns the gender of the baby before they do.”

For now, it sounds more like Leonard and Penny could be adding another potential roommate more so than losing one. Yet, at the same time this goes back to what we said earlier: Anything that you can do to get things going in that direction is something that these characters could appreciate. You have to remember here that Amy actually wants to live with Sheldon and spent the rest of her life in that arrangement. It’s certainly a more lucrative solution for them in the long-term.
