‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 2 video: Kono goes undercover — and dances!
For those of you who like to see Kono on “Hawaii Five-0” act like James Bond, there’s a lot to like in the sneak peek below from Friday night’s new episode. In this, you get to see a very different side of her and she goes undercover as “Melissa” — and in the process shows us some moves.
Let’s just put it this way: If Grace Park ever goes on “Dancing with the Stars,” she’s got a pretty good chance at going far.
Effectively, the entire purpose of this scene is that Kono can executive a move with some diamonds that requires an alter ego, one that appears as though she is confident, self-assured, and can make complicated business transactions discreetly. This requires a taste for the finer things. We like this as a viewer since it’s such contrast to the majority of the Five-0 missions, while at the same time containing a great deal of the fun that you expect.
Sure, this preview doesn’t give you much in the way of an answer, but did you really expect for that to happen? There’s going to be a lot on the docket for Five-0 both in this episode and in several others coming up, as the chess-piece killer is going to remain a threat for at least the immediate future. They are someone capable of causing a panic in Hawaii unlike the typical criminal the team tracks down, so resolving this will be high on the priority list.
