‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 4 preview: What’s up for Jaimie Alexander, cast in ‘If Beth’
The further and further we get into “Blindspot” season 2, the more we think that things are going to remain complicated for quite some time. This is not a show that ever ties things together neatly, and we suspect that this is going to continue moving into next week’s “If Beth.”
The first thing that we have to say about this installment is rather simple, and it’s that this may be the shortest episode title that this series has ever come up with! Given that these are all anagrams, they tend for the most part to be a little bit more complicated than that. The synopsis, meanwhile, is at least fairly clear that there continues to be some shifting sands, and that Nas and Weller are at the center of it all:
“Nas (Archie Panjabi) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) navigate their new dynamic as co-leaders during the team’s hunt for a museum gala assassin, who turns out turns out to be harboring a dark secret; Jane (Jaimie Alexander) starts to see a softer side of her old organization.”
Basically, what we think we are going to learn over the course of the season is that there is not necessarily an either/or situation when it comes to Jane’s past and present groups. There are times when they could be at odds, but times when they could both also prove to be rather advantageous in some way. Navigating these waters for Jane will probably continue to prove difficult, but we’re excited to see her work to figure that out as we get further and further along this season.
