‘Pretty Little Liars’ series finale: Creator Marlene King shares episode title!
You may have to wait for a long time still to learn all of the details regarding the upcoming series finale of “Pretty Little Liars,” but there is one thing that creator Marlene King is apparently more than happy to tease right away: The title for the episode.
In a post on her official Instagram page, the showrunner made it clear (albeit subtly) that “Till Death Do Us Part” is the name of the series finale — which is probably appropriate for a pair of different reasons:
1. It’s certainly a familiar thing to say around weddings, and there’s a good chance we could see people saying their vows in the finale (this show does have that romantic tinge to it).
2. There’s also a good chance someone will die, mostly because we’ve seen countless characters go — heck, Noel Kahn just got beheaded on the most-recent episode.
The new season is going to resume airing new episodes when we roll around to April, which is still a heck of a long time to wait. The series finale, meanwhile, may not be on the air until late May or early June depending on how Freeform opts to time it. Either way, the pressure will probably be on to deliver something great thanks to all of the time we spend building to this particular moment.
