‘Power’ season 3 finale spoilers: Omari Hardwick on Ghost – Kanan drama ahead

The season finale of “Power” is coming to Starz on Sunday night, and in all honesty, it’s fairly easy to forget about Kanan and precisely what his role in the drama could be. We’ve seen him slowly work his way back to life, and he’s gotten himself now to the point that he is a key point of influence in Tariq’s life in particular. It’s almost like he is working hard to try and carve out and destroy Ghost’s life from within.

In speaking about where we’re at with these two characters moving into the finale, star Omari Hardwick said the following to Entertainment Weekly:

“Ghost doesn’t even know Kanan is alive. Ghost is obviously gotta reconcile, Wait, how is he alive? I thought I… and now, wait, not only is he alive, but this is what he’s been doing for this amount of time? Like that’s a whole other level. So yeah, that’s obviously something that’s gonna be revealed: the fight, or smash up of these two monsters, Kanan and Ghost.”

We would hope to see the two characters more so in the same orbit during season 4, mostly because we spent so much time building towards a showdown this time and we’re not even sure precisely just how much time there is even going to be for it. Just remember for a minute or so here that Ghost also has to deal with Milan, resolving his relationships with both Tasha and Angela, and then also handling what Tommy could be bringing his way after all of the anger and betrayal.
