‘Pretty Little Liars’ series finale: Creator Marlene King offers script teases
“Pretty Little Liars” is not returning for the final ten episodes of the series until the spring of next year, so it looks as though we’re going to be waiting for a rather long time to see how all of this is actually going to end.
Luckily, creator Marlene King is at least giving us one thing to help ease the wait — a series of script teases, with each one offering the tiniest of nuggets in terms of what is going to be coming up. For one, the state police are going to be involved, Toby is going to have a role to play, there’s some wedding talk, and at least one character is in serious danger of dying. If you were interested in having this finale serve as a microcosm for almost the entire series, you’ll probably be satisfied with this.
As for what could be coming up before then, we presume that the first part of season 6B will deal more with the immediate aftermath of what happened to Noel Kahn coupled with the latest twist in the Aria – Ezra romance, and also a little bit more of what happened following Hanna and Caleb sleeping together. This is a show that tends to juggle a wide array of things all at one time, and based on the current evidence that we have, this is definitely not something we see stopping anytime soon.
