‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 1 video: Steve and Danny bicker about his condition

We’ve missed “Hawaii Five-0” over the course of the summer, but we like to think that the sneak peek below more than makes up for the wait. After all, this could be a wonderful example of Steve and Danny proving to the world that the recent liver transplant hasn’t quite changed much in terms of their relationship. They’re still at each other’s throats!

In this preview, you specifically see Danny questioning whether or not Steve made the right move when it comes to getting back into the thick of things so soon after the operation. Danny wants his partner to lessen the load, and makes a pretty funny argument that because it is his liver he is dealing with, he really should be a little bit more careful with it than he’s being. However, at the same time Steve seems to send the message of “I don’t really care, and I’m going to do everything that I want.”

There’s not much in terms of substance in this sneak peek, but at the same time it’s hard to really care when we have such a good time watching it. This is the heart of “Hawaii Five-0,” and one of the reasons why the show has been so successful over the course of the past few years. There will be a high-octane case over the course of this episode, so rest assured that those of you who watch for the excitement and danger will have something to enjoy.
