‘The Blacklist’ season 4, episode 1 video: Painting the town Red
In just over a day, the season 4 premiere of “The Blacklist” will be coming up on NBC, and we know especially that there is one thing you can expect to see: Reddington’s revenge. He’s not a guy you want to tick off, mostly because when you do, there’s a very good chance that there will be fireworks.
The promo below is not the most elaborate one in the world in terms of giving you major spoilers on what’s ahead, so we can describe the events of the premiere as follows: After Alexander Kirk reveals that he is Liz Keen’s father, she has to wrangle with that notion while Red in turn seeks her out. Whether or not Kirk is telling the truth remains to be seen, but manipulation can be a powerful thing.
As for elsewhere in the episode, the Task Force is finally going to have the good news that Liz is actually still alive, but there are some components to it that could complicate things. After all, remember the fact here is that these are people who consider Liz family, and there’s a part of them that may be pleased just to know she’s still out there. Yet, at the same time they could have a hard time grappling with the realization that she was alive, but never bothered to tell them about it in advance.
Rest assured, we’ve got a lot to talk about for this upcoming season, and we’re excited to bring a lot of it to you!
We’ve got a lot of great stuff worth checking out on the premiere of “The Blacklist,” including a great interview with Amir Arison talking about the story for Aram this season.
