‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 2 preview: How will Quinn, Torres adjust to the team?
Tonight, “NCIS” kicked off its fourteenth season on the air, and it did so with a wide array of different stories that all proved to be interesting in their own way. For example, Wilmer Valderrama and Jennifer Esposito each made their impact known in their own way as Nick Torres and Alex Quinn, and the team managed to balance this out with also solving a mystery surrounding the death of a commander.
Now that we know that these newcomers are sticking around on the show, we’re going to get a chance to see a different sort of focus on them … and a comedic one. “Being Bad” is the title for the next new episode, and the synopsis below gives us a sense as to some seating-room drama:
“NCIS uncovers a bomb plot and a long-running theft ring while investigating a death at a Quantico reunion. Also Torres and Quinn adjust to life on Gibbs’ team, including new seating arrangements in the squad room.”
Ultimately, we do think the jury is still out on whether or not we like the new characters. How in the world can anyone be confident when we’re just a matter of an hour into the season? What we do know is that there is promise, and that is something that could be explored further as we move along deeper into the season and learn more about these people. At least there was nothing bad in the premiere that makes us feel out on the new characters.
