‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 1 sneak peeks: Wilmer Valderrama and Jennifer Esposito introductions
The season premiere of “NCIS” is right about here, and based on the sneak peeks below, this is not a series wasting a whole lot of time before starting to get things going in terms of a case! As per usual, the writers are juggling many things in this first hour of the season, whether it be adjusting to life without Michael Weatherly, starting a new investigation, or introducing us to new series regulars played by Jennifer Esposito and Wilmer Valderrama.
In preparation for this episode, we’ve got a series of sneak peeks below that are definitely recommended viewing!
1. Bishop returns – After a vacation in Scotland, one that included spending some time with Clayton Reeves, Bishop comes home to see that the entire NCIS office is still adjusting to not having DiNozzo around. McGee’s having issues with the layout, and yet another Special Agent was fired by Gibbs for not living up to his high standards.
By the end of the preview, Gibbs rushes in with familiar news: There’s a crime scene that needs their services.

2. Meet Alex Quinn – This preview gives you a nice introduction to Esposito’s character, an instructor who is getting increasingly frustrated with Gibbs, and with good reason. While she repeatedly does her best to send him good prospective candidates, he rejects every single one of them.

3. Now, meet Nick Torres – Alex and Bishop here offer up a little bit of exposition as to Valderrama’s character, a man who has spent years in deep cover and has a personal connection to this case. He’s a certainly a strong-willed guy, and he pleads with Gibbs here to let him be involved.
