‘Power’ season 3, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Could Ghost really die?
It’s funny that “Ghost is Dead” is one of the most iconic episode titles for “Power” to date, but moving into next week’s season 3 finale, we actually could have an episode where he’s in greater danger than he’s ever been. “In My Best Interest” will be the title for this episode, and that is certainly appropriate given that everyone is going to operate with what they believe is the right thing to do. Of course, this is life and not everyone’s going to get what they want — more than likely, nobody will. That’s just part of how this world works.
The preview that aired following tonight’s episode made it clear that Tommy could be taking some action towards killing Ghost, something that he claimed he had an interest in doing after so many issues of trust between them. They certainly have different philosophies when it comes to Milan, and how to keep Tasha and the kids safe. The synopsis below via TV Guide certainly makes it all the clearer just how far he’s willing to go.
“While in the middle of throwing the party of a lifetime, Ghost must slip away to retrieve evidence; Tasha’s attempt to save her family requires she enter an unlikely alliance, while Tommy contemplates a move that will impact everyone’s present and future.”
Obviously, some of these stories could be complete game-changers, and there could also be a cliffhanger or two that sets the stage in a really epic way for the fourth season. It’s with that in mind that we’re hopeful Ghost makes it through this alive. Can you really imagine “Power” without him serving as a part of the tapestry? It’s a crazy thing to think about.
