‘Supernatural’ season 12 spoilers: Misha Collins on Castiel – Crowley team-ups

Just in case you’re looking for some more fun scoop on “Supernatural” season 12, how about the idea of Castiel and Crowling working together? Anytime you can pair up characters in interesting ways we’re all about it, and it definitely does feel like this the way in which these two are coming together is just as interesting as the idea of them coming together in the first place.

First things first, let’s give you the confirmation that this is happening. Here’s what star Misha Collins had to say on the subject to Entertainment Weekly:

“Castiel and Crowley have kind of teamed up in season 12 and are working together.”

So how is this going to happen? Well, one of the key components to this is going to be none other than Lucifer, a man who the two have some mutual distaste for at the moment. So long as he is around, it’s going to make it all the harder for Crowley to properly claim the throne of hell.

Meanwhile, at the same exact time Castiel is going to be motivated in part by what was done to him throughout much of last season. We cannot imagine that being a vessel for the guy was easy, and he’d much rather work alongside Crowley than have to deal with this guy’s continued presence. It has already been confirmed that, at least for a certain amount of time, Lucifer will be inhabiting a rocker played by none other than “Jessie’s Girl” singer Rick Springfield.
