‘Supergirl’ season 2 spoilers: ‘The 100’ actress cast as Roulette
The second season of “Supergirl” may be on a new network in The CW, but we figured that there were many structural elements of the show that were going to stay reasonably similar. One of them, seemingly, will be having a wide array of villains turn up over the course of the year in order to battle the title character.
Based on some of the reports that we have right now via ComicBook.com, Dichen Lachman will be one of them. The actress, known for “The 100,” “Agents of SHIELD,” and other shows, will be appearing as the villain Roulette. The TV version of the character is a woman responsible for running a secret alien fight-club ring, and as a result of that of course she would love to find a way to get Kara Zor-El involved. Given that Kara is someone who does seem to especially work towards unifying aliens and allowing them all to have the treatment that they deserve, we can understand how this could end up being a problem for her.
There are going to be a wide array of villains who turn up over the course of season 2, but the reality still here is that we don’t have much of an indicator yet who the Big Bad will be in the end. This is a little bit different than most of the other CW shows at the moment in the superhero mold, who do all seem to have that much figured out at the very least.
New episodes of the show are going to be airing starting next month on The CW; we’ll have some further news soon!
