‘Bull’ spoilers: Jill Flint of ‘The Night Shift’ set to guest-star
There are many highly-anticipated shows coming up this fall, but CBS is seemingly banking on “Bull” to be a hit more so than any other. It has one of their biggest stars in Michael Weatherly, a great timeslot after “NCIS,” and a notable executive producer in Dr. Phil McGraw who inspired some of the stories.
Now, it also has Jill Flint to get you that much more excited about seeing it. Per a report from TVLine, the “Night Shift” actress and “Royal Pains” alum is going to be appearing on an episode airing this October as Diana, a skilled and proficient attorney who knows how to use her charm to her advantage in the courtroom. Apparently, she is also going to have a history with Weatherly’s own Dr. Jason Bull, which adds yet another layer of intrigue into the mix given how his job often involves studying and making moves to properly influence attorneys and juries.
This news for Flint comes while we remain in the midst of a waiting game on the future of “The Night Shift” over at NBC. We remain fairly confident that the series will be renewed there, and if not it has a good chance of finding a spot on another network. We’re hopefully going to have a little more information on the subject of a renewal before we get too deep into the fall TV season. (For more, check out our exclusive interview with the showrunners from earlier this summer.)
As for “Bull,” the series is set to premiere on Tuesday night. Hopefully, it turns out to be a captivating and at-times fun entry into the CBS lineup.
