‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Jane, Weller
The second season premiere of “Blindspot” brought a wide array of different things to NBC, with one of the predominant ones being that it allowed for Jane to learn a significant more about her past than she ever had previously. We learned a birth name, a potential mother and brother in Shepherd and Roman, and some further clues as to how she arrived in Times Square to begin with.
As for the truth of much of that, this is the subject that is firmly up for debate at present. We cannot offer up too much when it comes to hints on that, at least other than a reminder that this show is not completely abandoning its original premise, either. We are going to continue to see a wide array of different mysteries revolve around various tattoos, and Jane and Weller will continue to figure out where their relationship stands in the process.
Want a little more insight? Then just take a look at the attached synopsis for next week’s installment now:
“The team races to stop a corrupt DEA agent from selling stinger missiles to a drug cartel as Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) fights to keep everyone together under the increasing pressures of Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) rift with the others and the uncomfortable addition of Nas (Archie Panjabi) as co-leader.”
One other quick thing that you should be reminded of is that starting next week, the series will be settling back into its regular time of 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, where it will be airing before “Law & Order: SVU” and also “Chicago PD.”
