‘Chicago Med’ season 2 spoilers: A difficult story lies ahead for April

The second season of “Chicago Med” is going to be premiering in a little more than one week’s time, and there is going to be quite a bit of drama that goes along with it. Not only that, but there are also going to be opportunities to see a few characters in some different and dramatic situations than we’ve seen them as of late.

One of these people, based on what executive producer Diane Frolov says to TVLine, could be April Sexton. She’s someone who has been through a lot when it comes to her own medical history, and she is someone who is going to go through the ringer as a result of it now:

“[She’s] really avoiding Tate and his son because of her fear about giving TB to them even though she is latent. She has to be really convinced that she’s not contagious and can continue with her life. But as she does so, her TB ceases to be latent and becomes active.”

This is a story that is going to unfold over the course of a long period of time; with that in mind, we expect that this is something we’ll be talking about for many weeks, and we hope that there will be some good news that comes out of it. The one reason that we do have a little bit of pause right now is mostly just because of the fact that this is not a show, or a collection of shows, where happiness is guaranteed. Time and time again, we see people undergo a wide array of different struggles.
