‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 13 preview: A pair of ‘Girl Meets the Great Lady of New York’ teases
It’s been a long two weeks without new episodes of “Girl Meets World” on the air, but luckily the Disney Channel is looking to rectify that on Friday night with “Girl Meets the Great Lady of New York.” It’s hopefully going to prove itself to be a fairly fun half-hour of television, and if nothing else, we do know that it is one that should have a fairly clear message attached to it: Celebrating all of the different cultures who come to call America home.
The posts below from the show’s official writers room account are effective little teases as to what to expect. While they don’t necessarily give a substantial amount away, at the same exact time they make it clear precisely what some of the themes are for the episode, and in turn some of the questions you should be asking yourself as you prepare for this story to air.
More than anything else, it feels to us like the one thing you should expect to see in this episode is perspective. We’re not sure that characters like Riley and Maya spend a lot of time thinking about the other worldviews that are out there, and it’s not because we think that they are jerks or are insensitive in any way. It’s just a testament to the reality of the world. Sometimes, it’s really difficult to see other sides mostly because of the fact that you’re still struggling to understand your own.
Maybe we’ll get a few teases here and there about some of the long-term stories this season, but we’re not anticipating too much as of right now.
