‘The Blacklist’ season 4 spoilers: Liz’s family-history lesson

The fourth season of “The Blacklist” is one that will be kicking things off in just one week’s time, and with a mystery that is really like no other: Is Alexander Kirk really the father of Elizabeth Keen?

We cannot tell you one way or another if this truth will be coming out early on during season 4, but we can at least give you this: You’re going to have an opportunity to learn a little bit more news regarding her family in general. “Miles McGrath” is the title for the third episode of this season airing on Thursday, October 6, and courtesy of the synopsis below, you can get a few more nuggets of information regarding what to expect there:

“Red (James Spader) and the Task Force take extreme measures to hunt down one of Alexander Kirk’s allies, Miles McGrath (Tate Ellington), a “criminal incubator” who finances crimes for profit. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) learns more about her family.”

As you can see, it does feel like there is a certain procedural element that is there much as there always is with the show. We’re not sure how much of this Miles character we’re going to see, and he is the title character of the episode for a reason. What’s going on with Liz should remain a central component for at least the first batch of episodes, and if the show is doing this right, they should have you remaining hungry for more.
