‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Grace Under Fire’ grad gets mystery role

How to Get Away with Murder -The third season of “How to Get Away with Murder” is going to be premiering in just over a week’s time, and while it is a Shonda Rhimes tradition to keep things hush-hush when it comes to casting specifics, we are glad to at least have a new tease to report on right now.

According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, Brett Butler of “Grace Under Fire” (and more recently of “The Leftovers”) is going to play a key part, and that is all we can give you for now. We can’t imagine the lack of details being that surprising to longtime fans, but we do tend to find with this show that there is something super-worthwhile about actually getting to see these castings play out when the show actually airs.

We suppose it is possible that Butler will play someone in the academic world, given that this seems to be a renewed focus for the series this year after taking more of a backseat during season 2. Annalise Keating is going to face some trouble at the university, and at the same time she has to find a way to focus in her students more in on their studies, which we imagine could be incredibly difficult when you consider for a minute or two just how many other things that they have going on. Let’s put it this way: When you’ve been through what many of these people have, is it really going to be that easy for you to focus on academia?
