‘The Amazing Race Canada 4’ finale preview: the teams join the circus … sort of

There are only three teams remaining for Tuesday’s season finale for “The Amazing Race Canada,” and judging from what we’re seeing there is at least going to be a point where all three teams are still in the running. (Note: This point does take place after the teams leave the pat.)

While presumably in their final city of Montreal, Joel & Ashley, Steph & Kristen, and Jillian & Emmett are going to have to take part in a series of activities inspired by Cirque du Soleil, where the two team members work in collaboration to complete a number of acrobatic stunts. In the process, they are clearly going to realize that these are significantly harder than they ever thought.

In the sneak peek video over on the official CTV website, you can get a pretty good indication as to precisely what some of the remaining teams are going to be up against. They will all be struggling to some extent making it happen, and we don’t actually get a sense from here as to who will finish first. What we do know is that, pending a disaster, finishing last here is hardly going to be a death sentence when there is so much more of the race still to be played out and as a result of that, plenty of chances for surprising things to happen. There will almost surely be a mental component to the leg at some point, given that this is something that has become a central component of so many different legs over the years.
