‘Doctor Who’ season 10: John Barrowman still very much open to comeback
If you do want to see more of John Barrowman on “Doctor Who,” rest assured you’re far from the only one. The actor has an incredibly-loyal fan following out there, and we assume that the vast majority of them are people who would be thrilled to see him back at some point over the course of the series’ run.
Granted, there were even some rumors that were out there suggesting that he would return for an upcoming Christmas Specials, but since rumors are just that, it’s harder to comment on them. Instead, let’s just talk about the fact that the actor wants to be back and then we’ll see what happened. Specifically, he had the following to pass along about a potential Captain Jack return to the Radio Times:
“The answer is always absolutely. It’s a show and genre that changed my life; I love it dearly and if I’m asked I would do it at the drop of a hat. And also my producers here in the US for the show I’m on at the moment, Arrow, they’ve said if that did happen we’d let you do it.”
We do think that it would be nice to see this transpire before the end of season 10, given that this is the last full season for Steven Moffat as showrunner. The primary issue now is that if Barrowman hasn’t already filmed it, we don’t know where he would get the time. “Arrow” season 5 is now back in production, and that’s not the only CW show he will appear in anymore thanks to a deal that also could include appearances on “The Flash” or “Legends of Tomorrow.”
