‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 13 (summer finale) preview: The ‘White Lies’ case, Buzz’s investigation end
Next week there are going to be a lot of different options out there for people to watch when it comes to television since pretty much every Fall show on the planet is returning in one giant swoop. With that in mind, we hope that you still put aside some time to check out the “Major Crimes” summer finale. After all, there is a lot that the show is setting up to accomplish, whether it be the end of the “White Lies” story arc to giving us some resolution into the case of Buzz’s late father, something that has been a central part of this season from the very beginning.
The synopsis below may not be the most revealing in the world, but it still does a pretty good job handing down some of the facts you would want to know about the episode:
“Major Crimes hurtles forward towards the mysterious and elusive mastermind in the Dwight Darnell murders while Buzz and Rusty’s investigation into the murder of Buzz’s father comes to an unexpected end.”
We’ve mentioned it before, but it bears repeating that originally the fifth season was only ordered for thirteen episodes before more were added later. Therefore, we do wonder if this episode will have a fairly conclusive feeling in the event that there was concern that there could not be any more episodes for a while — if not ever. Luckily, we do know that this is not the case, given that there were more season 5 installments ordered by TNT and you can check those out either later this year or early next. It’s a little too early for details on that to come out!
