‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 spoilers: More on Stiles’ present circumstances

We’ve heard a little bit already about the Ghost Riders as the Big Bad of “Teen Wolf” season 6, at least the early portion of it. These people are certainly going to be mysterious as they find themselves trapped in the Beacon Hills universe. Also, they’re terrifying in precisely what they do: They make people effectively disappear. Rather than kill you, they wipe you off of the face of the earth. This is a very creepy idea that is far more terrifying than mere bloodshed; also, it could explain some of Dylan O’Brien’s absence in the event that Stiles is taken by these people.

Ultimately, showrunner Jeff Davis basically confirms to Entertainment Weekly that Stiles is taken away for part of the story, and for the rest of the characters on the show, the real mission will be trying to figure this out:

“Almost immediately people will notice something missing, because Stiles is such an indelible part of Beacon Hills. They each realize that something huge is missing in their life and they come to this eventual conclusion it might be a person.”

Given that they don’t precisely know what is actually gone, we have to imagine that trying to get him back will prove to be no easy task. Then again, doesn’t everyone love a challenge? Part of the excitement that comes along with season 6 could revolve around seeing how some of these characters do what they can in order to find Stiles and bring him back to the world he was once a significant part of.
